Our mission is to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name, and this we do in partnership with local Evangelical churches in the Philippines.
We partner with churches all over the Philippines across 17 different denominations. And we are present in 21 of the 30 poorest provinces.
Across the Philippines we continue to see God work in incredible ways, with Compassion currently serving over 1.7 million children around the world.
Since 1972 Compassion has partnered with local churches throughout the Philippines to release children from Poverty in Jesus name.
Our response to poverty is different.
We believe a local church is a catalyst for change in its community and optimizes the mutual respect, resources and common purpose critical in caring for children.
Through Compassion’s programs, children are supported through every stage of life, and are equipped to bring lasting change to their families and communities
Children are the hardest hit by poverty, the least able to change their circumstances, and at the heart of Jesus’ ministry. So our focus is one child at a time.
Most importantly, every child gets the chance to hear and respond to the gospel message and discover God’s incredible love for them.
Independent research confirms our approach works and continues to work in a child's life long after they have completed our program.
